At its last meeting the board confirmed Bellevue’s appointment to the sergeant position following the departure of Adam Garland, who now serves as West Bath’s town administrator. The department conducted a promotional process with two applicants, MacMaster said, and appeared before the board for the pinning to make the appointment official. Bellevue has been an officer with Richmond Police Department since 2007.
