PORTLAND (AP) — Gas is down nearly another 3 cents in Maine.
Gasoline price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com reports Monday that the average cost of a gallon of gas in Maine is down to $2.94.
Maine gas prices have now dropped more than 23.9 cents per gallon in the past month and are about 46.9 cents lower per gallon that at this time last year.
However, the price in Maine remains 12 cents per gallon above the national average.
The Maine price is based on a survey of more than 1,200 gas stations.
