Cultural holiday traditions were celebrated at One Tree Wholistic Learning Center’s annual Season of Light Celebration on Saturday. The afternoon at the center on Portland’s Fore Street included storytelling, crafts, music, food and a presentation of cultural holidays that incorporate the symbolism of light: Eid and Ramadan (Muslim), Christmas (Christianity), Kwanzaa (African), Hanukkah (Judaism), Diwali (Hindu) and winter solstice.
