SOUTH PORTLAND – After eight years leading the South Portland School Department Superintendent Suzanne Godin has announced her retirement from public education.

The school board was set to meet in a special session Monday, Nov. 24, to discuss the next steps, including how best to conduct the search for a new school leader. Godin’s last day on the job will be June 30, 2015.
