Firefighters were battling a house fire late Saturday night on Inverness Road in Falmouth.

No information was immediately available on whether anyone was injured or on the extent of damage to the structure.

A dispatcher confirmed that the fire was at 12 Inverness Road. It was reported around 11 p.m.

Inverness Road is next to the Falmouth Country Club golf course.
