Democrat Matthea E. Daughtry was re-elected to the Maine House seat representing District 49, which includes part of Brunswick.

Daughtry, 27, a photographer and Democrat from Brunswick, earned 66.3 percent of the vote.

Daughtry beat out Republican Michael R. Stevens, 49, a school bus driver and hotel night auditor from Brunswick.
