Sen. Stan Gerzofsky is a tireless advocate for Midcoast Maine.
Over the last 14 years, Stan Gerzofsky has tirelessly advocated for the residents of Mid-coast Maine. Serving first in the Maine House as the representative from Brunswick, and for the last six years representing the citizens of Senate District 10, Stan Gerzofsky has time and again made sure that his votes in the Legislature reflect the voices of his constituents.
For the last few years, I have worked closely with Sen. Gerzofsky on issues impacting my profession. He has sought to understand all sides of any debate, asking the tough questions, and oftentimes looking to find a middle ground. And while we don’t always agree, I can attest to the fact that Sen. Gerzofsky makes informed decisions — decisions he believes are in the best interests of his constituents and the people of Maine.
On Nov. 4, residents of Senate District 24 (formerly District 10) which now includes Freeport, North Yarmouth, Brunswick, Harpswell and Pownal, have the opportunity to cast their vote for a fair-minded and experienced legislator who knows how to get the job done.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
