I own my own business and generate all of my own work. I am basically the only employee of my company. Without people like me and thousands of other small businesses, there would be nobody to take tax money from to run public schools, town government and all the other aspects of government. Large businesses are equally necessary and important.

My neighbor, Mike McClellan, is running for reelection in the newly created District 66, and I am enthusiastically supporting him. Mike very much understands the huge importance of the free enterprise system, and how it is the wealth creator central to our economic prosperity.

Mike has received the highest scores awarded by The Maine Economic Research Institute (MERI) and the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), the latter of which I am a member and has publicly endorsed Mike. These organizations look at and rate candidates based on their legislative performances in regard to being supportive of vital private business. Almost never does there appear the name of a Democrat near the top score of either of these organizations.

Additionally, Mike is supported by Maine State Credit Unions, Maine Association of Realtors, Maine Insurance Agents and The Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine. He also received an A rating from the National Rifle Association. How can we go wrong with Mike McClellan!

Those dependent on government entitlements are really depending on a strong healthy economy provided by business. Healthy businesses, a huge number that are small, need good representation in Augusta. It is in everyone’s best interest to reelect Mike McClellan.
