I have known Bill Diamond for many years. In that time he has never boasted to me about his accomplishments nor took credit for his many good deeds. I have never heard him speak badly of anyone.
I think that the voters in his Senate district should be reminded of some of his credits. He was a school teacher, a school principal, a superintendent of schools, a small business owner, and a local newspaper publisher. He was a member of the volunteer rescue department, and he was one of the founders of the Windham Land Trust, and Windham’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors. He was active in local organizations like Riding to the Top, MSSPA and others that have slipped my mind.
Bill served in the Maine House of Representatives and the Maine Senate where he showed that he could work with all members and form a consensus on important issues.
Bill Diamond is the person I want to represent me in Augusta.
