There is a clear choice from politics as usual for Freeport/Pownal voters.
Paul Schulz should be elected to the Maine House of Representatives as the candidate who takes a common-sense approach to government. He pledges to stand up for tax restraint for the good of us and the next generation who will be taking on our debt. Paul is a hard worker and appreciates the importance of thriving businesses and good-paying jobs. He paid his way through college, working construction, and now runs a software consulting business. He is running for office because he loves our country and our state. He wants Maine to be a place where his three young children can grow up and do well, and not have to move elsewhere to succeed.
He understands why tax restraint is important as so many Mainers live on fixed incomes and cannot withstand our state’s crushing tax burden. Too many of our current legislators are “spend-happy,” especially when it’s not their money being spent. The status quo of heavy taxation without accountability is their modus operandi. Our legislators should be working for us, not just spending our money. Vote for Paul Schulz, who will work hard, be fiscally responsible, and play fair for the people.
