On behalf of the Scarborough Public Library staff and the Board of Trustees, I would like to extend sincerest thanks to all of the members of our community who helped make our new logo celebration during the month of September such a smashing success!

We thank Scarborough Grounds for partnering with us to create a Library Blend coffee and for hosting a Library Day fundraiser. It is no surprise to us that this is the No. 1-rated coffee shop!

We thank Bangor Savings Bank for their support of our September “Cafe Fridays.” We welcome folks to continue to bring their beverages to the library in their covered library tumblers (or any covered containers).

We thank Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution for sponsoring the well-attended and most excellent Tricky Britches concert on our back lawn. It was a beautiful night for a concert and families enjoyed the show (as well as some impressive, impromptu cartwheels!).

We are thankful to Don Mitchell for help with exterior lighting and power for the concert. We thank Matthew Eaton, the Winslow Homer Auditorium assistant manager, for his help in arranging staging for the concert. And though the weather was glorious and we were fortunate to be able to hold the concert outdoors, we thank Dan Hager and Nicole Hall of Community Services for their behind-the-scenes help with securing a rain location for the concert.

Lastly, we thank Ian Weidner for developing our beautiful new logo. He has been gracious with his time and professional experience – our materials have all benefited from his keen eye. Words cannot express how grateful we are for his talents.

Thank you to everyone who helped us unveil our new logo in style!
