I am writing to encourage Scarborough voters to support Roger Beeley for Town Council. I have known Roger personally and professionally for more than 20 years. I have worked and served with Roger on the Growth and Services Committee, Scarborough Economic Development Corporation Board (SEDCO), Scarborough Economic Vision and Plan Working Group, and Scarborough Kiwanis.

Roger has what it takes to be a great Town Councilor. He is a person who works hard and gets things done. As a member of the Growth and Services Committee, Roger was integral to helping members reach consensus on balancing economic growth with demand for quality services, and open space. As a board member of SEDCO, Roger was a leader in developing an economic plan for the community in conjunction with the Scarborough Chamber. He led efforts to bring together focus groups and visit businesses to understand their need and concerns. He continues to work on the oversight and implementation of that plan today.

Roger is passionate about the community and recognizes it as a great place to live, work and do businesses. He approaches each issue with reason, gathering and considering both information and opinions. He does his homework on each issue and does not come to the issue with a political ax to grind. He is running to continue to improve the Scarborough community and is not in the race to advocate for one issue as some of the other candidates are.

Join me this Election Day in voting for Roger so we can continue making Scarborough a great place to live work and do business.
