At the Little Dog Coffee Shop in Brunswick on the first Saturday and at the Bow Street Market in Freeport on the fourth Saturday of each month, you will find Senator Stan Gerzofsky reaching out to the people of State Senate District 24. Why you ask? Stan wants to hear your story. Whether it is a need for assistance with state government or it is to vent frustration with the political system, Stan will listen respectfully to your story and assist you.
Many of you have seen him cheerfully dedicating long hours in serving all the people in Brunswick, Freeport, Harpswell, North Yarmouth and Pownal. Stan stands up for our fishermen, lobstermen, clam diggers and worm diggers while receiving a perfect score from the Maine Conservation Voters. Senator Gerzofsky sponsored successful legislation to protect our mudflats from the invasive green crabs.
In addition to his work on marine resources, Stan is creating financial incentives for small business owners and workers in redeveloping the naval base in Brunswick. He demonstrates leadership in addressing domestic violence, establishing accountability with the county jail facilities and restoring twothirds of funding in property tax relief in a bipartisan manner.
We need effective leaders like Stan in Augusta.
Show him your support on November 4th by electing Stan to the Maine State Senate.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
