AUBURN — The Lighthouse Events has announced several free concerts by Dove Award-winning artist Mark Harris next weekend.

Harris, the former lead singer of the Grammy nominated and Dove Award Group 4HIM, has 24 No. 1 songs. He’ll be in Maine for four free concerts, Friday, Oct. 24, at Kennebec Community Church in Augusta at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 25, at Harvest Chapel of Levant Village at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 26, at East Auburn Baptist Church at 11 a.m. and at Eliot Baptist Church at 7 p.m.

No tickets are required, though a love offering will be taken at each show.

A number of other concerts are planed this fall, according to The Lighthouse Events.

— Veggie Tales Live will make one Maine stop, Friday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m. at the Charleston Church, 185 Main Road. Tickets are $17 for general admission, and $12 for ages 12 and younger.

— Mark Schultz and Selah bring the “You Amaze Us Tour” to East Auburn Baptist Church, Friday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $20.

— John Waller and family’s “Christmas in the Northeast” concert tour makes two Maine stops. Waller will be at Eastpoint Christian Church, 58 City Line Drive, Portland, for three shows, on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. On Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m., at Charleston Church, 185 Main Road. No tickets are needed,thoughaalove offering will be taken.
