Bean Supper with Veterans
October is membership month at the American Legion Field-Allen Post 148. The Membership Bean Supper at Windham Veterans Center on Saturday, Oct. 25, is a good time to enjoy supper and find out more about the Legion. The supper is open to the public with special emphasis on local veterans who might have an interest in becoming a member of the Post. Each year the Post receives many inquiries about the Legion and how to join. This is an opportunity to meet Post members in a social setting and get answers to questions you might have. There will be a brief recognition ceremony at the beginning of the supper. Advance tickets can be purchased from Dick Small (310-0390) or $8 at the door.
