On Nov. 4, voters have the opportunity to keep our state representative, Sara Gideon, at work for us in Augusta.
I have volunteered my efforts to both Sara’s first run for state office, and then for this one. I do so because I heartily support her in her work. I believe in her capabilities and in her prowess. I can speak to the “behind the scenes” efforts that allow Rep. Gideon to solve problems and foster growth at the state level.
I see her at work in our two towns, connecting with those she represents. I’ve waited as she finished up office hours at local eatery; listened as she met with town councilors on educational issues. I’ve been approached by local small business owners/starters showing appreciation for her work on issues important to their business goals. I watch her balance her days of meetings in Augusta with her days raising her young family.
She has, over the years, engaged with the workings of our schools, our town governances, our industries and our community services. She knows where we have been and how we wish to grow.
We are very fortunate citizens to have a woman as dedicated, creative, engaged, and visionary as Rep. Gideon working for us in Augusta. Please join me in ensuring that she is able to continue this work. Vote for Sara Gideon on Nov. 4.
