TOPSHAM — As part of its ongoing 250th birthday celebration, the town will hold a 5K run and a “fun run” on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Proceeds from the 9 a.m. event, which starts and finishes at the Foreside Recreational Facility on Foreside Road, benefit Mid Coast Hunger Prevention and the Topsham Heating Fund.

Log onto runinarace.com/Topsham250/index.html to pre-register. Online registration ends Friday, Oct. 10, and registration the day of the event runs from 7:30-8:45 a.m. and is $25 for adults and $20 for youths.
