AUGUSTA (AP) — Maine Gov. Paul LePage has ordered flags lowered to half-staff in honor of Maine House Speaker Millie McFarland.
MacFarland died late last month at a hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, after a long battle with cancer. She was 58.
She worked in the Maine House for more than 30 years.
