Dr. Michael Pinette will be honored at the Greater Portland Signature Chefs Auction at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at DiMillo’s on the Water.

The event is sponsored by the March of Dimes Maine chapter. Pinette is the medical director of MaineHealth’s Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. His team includes three maternal-fetal medicine subspecialists, three board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists, five nurses, 14 sonographers and two genetic counselors. The practice travels to clinics around the state once or twice a month, and reviews around 3,000 prenatal ultrasound tests a month.

Participating restaurants include DiMillo’s, the Brunswick Hotel and Tavern, Ri Ra, Vinland, and The Frog & Turtle.

Guests will be able to sample their signature dishes, bid on auction items and raise funds to support the March of Dimes.
