The Freeport Police Department is reporting on its Facebook page that the Sept. 11 ?remembrance ceremony will be moved inside the fire department equipment bays due to the expected bad weather.

The event had been scheduled to take place at the World Trade Center Steel Monument at the Freeport Public Safety Building. It will start at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Maine’s first lady, Ann LePage, will attend the event, according to a release Wednesday from Gov. Paul LePage’s office.
