BRUNSWICK — Sangngag Dzogpachenpo Rinpoche will deliver a free public talk, “Transforming adversity into wisdom: Discovering our inherent Buddha nature in the midst of hardship and difficulty,” on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Curtis Memorial Library’s Morrell Meeting Room from 7-9 p.m.
In this public presentation of the highest Tibetan teachings of the Buddhist path of Dzogchen, Sangngag Rinpoche will teach on three methods for transforming experiences of adversity into the realization of our own inherent sacredness or Buddha nature; and how this realization can really help transform experiences of pain and suffering into wisdom.
The talk is presented by the Dzogchen Meditation Center in West Bath. For more information, visit www.dzogchenmeditation.com or call 607-3392.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
