My Place Teen Center has chosen Loduha Andriko as its September Member Spotlight. “Member Spotlight” is an opportunity for MPTC teens to be recognized by staff and their peers for their contributions to the My Place community. According to the staff, Loduha is a vibrant member of the MPTC Community. He is full of energy, spunky and fun to be around. Loduha was selected to be this month’s Member Spotlight because he is a good friend and peer. He helps his friends make good choices. Here are a few questions that Loduha answered about himself.
Q. What grade are you in?
A. I will be starting sixth grade at Westbrook Middle School. I like school, especially science and when we do activities in math. I also like reading.
Q. How long have you lived in Westbrook?
A. For about a year. I moved here from Portland. I really like living in Westbrook.
Q. Who do you live with?
A. I live with my mom and my younger brother and sister.
Q. How long have you been coming to the teen center?
A. I have been coming for about a year.
Q. What are your favorite things to do at the teen center?
A. I really love to play pool and ping pong. Also, I love to play the video games.
Q. What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
A. I like to play outside at the park with my brother and sister. I also play football for the rec team.
Q. You said you like reading. Do you have a favorite book?
A. My favorite book is the Bone book series.
Q. What are your favorite movies and music?
A. My favorite movie is “The Avengers,” and my favorite songs are “Rap God,” by Eminem and “Am I Wrong,” by Nico & Vinz.
