Courtney Freeman, above, executive director of Avita of Stroudwater, holds a sign pointing to silent auction items at an auction fundraiser last Thursday at the memory care facility off Spring Street. The event raised more than $5,000 for the Sept. 27 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. At right, guests move their way down a line of auction items.
