Arrests

Eugene A. Crosman, 41, of Topsham was arrested at 2:51 p.m. July 21 at Rite Aid on Maine Street on a warrant and on a probation hold. He was also charged with criminal trespassing, after having been warned by police in September 2013 to stay away from the Rite Aid, according to police.

Robert J. Stanton, 61, of Brunswick was arrested at 12:03 a.m. July 22 at 7-Eleven on Maine Street and charged with criminal trespassing, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and unlawful possession of scheduled Z drugs. According to police, Stanton, who had been issued a prior warning to stay away from the 7-Eleven, had been shoplifting. A search of Stanton’s vehicle revealed Stanton was in possession of Suboxone — used to treat opiate addiction — and the muscle-relaxer tizanidine.

Christopher L. Cheetham, 35, of Brunswick was arrested after police responded to a disturbance at 2:50 a.m. July 22 on Beverly Drive on a probation hold, after Cheetham was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

Summonses

Rany Soeun, 34, of Topsham was summonsed at 11:08 a.m. July 18 at Walmart on Tibbetts Drive for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Kerry L. Berry, 40, of Brunswick was summonsed at 10 p.m. July 18 after a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Routes 1 and 196 for operating with a suspended license.

James W. Dall, 52, of Brunswick was summonsed at 12:41 p.m. July 21 at Thomas Point Beach for harvesting shellfish in a closed conservation area.
