The victim of an alleged burglary has wound up being arrested.
According to Brunswick Police Capt. Mark Waltz, a witness reported a man taking a chain saw from a shed on a residence on Bath Road at around 2 p.m. July 19. After investigating, police summonsed David Allen Gillam, 41, of Harpswell for burglary.
The resident, Frederick B. Harlow, 72, whose residence was last listed as Freeport, was found to have a warrant out of Cumberland County Superior Court for unpaid fines, and also was arrested, according to Waltz.
