A car fire completely shut down Interstate Route 295 north at mile 11 in Falmouth for about 20 minutes Sunday morning.

The fire broke out at about 8:50 a.m. The road was shut down until 9:10 a.m. when one lane was reopened, said the Maine State Police.

No one was hurt in the incident.
