BRUNSWICK — Residents and visitors to Mid-coast Maine have the opportunity to hear Gordon Bok in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Brunswick, on the corner of Pleasant and Middle streets.
Bok’s repertoire consists of a rich trove of ballads of Maine and the Maritimes, songs and dances of the Americas and abroad, stories of boats and sailors, tales of sealfolk and cantefables of his own composition, contemporary songs and instrumentals.
Tickets are available at the Gulf of Maine Bookstore and the church office, for $20. Tickets will be available at the door, but advance purchase is recommended.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
