Antique appraisal set for July 14

RAYMOND – The Raymond-Casco Historical Society welcomes back antique appraiser Harry Hepburn III to share his extensive knowledge of antiques during an antique appraisal event starting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, at the society’s museum on Route 302 near the Raymond-Casco town line.

There will be no admission charge to attend, however organizers ask for a donation to the society of $5 per appraised item. This will be an excellent opportunity to have your antiques appraised at almost no cost.

Hepburn has been a full-time antiques dealer since 1971, and has been working on antique clocks since 1968. He is a licensed and bonded auctioneer and appraiser of antiques and personal property since 1977. He is well recognized throughout New England as an authority on early clocks, period furniture and their accessories.

He is on the board of directors of the Maine Antique Dealers Association, and he is also the president of the Maine Chapter of the National Clock & Watch Collectors Association.
