BRUNSWICK — The members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, 288 1/2 Maine St., announce that starting July 2 the time of the Wednesday evening services will change to 7 p.m. year round.
These mid-week services include readings from the Bible and “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy on a topic in current thought. In addition there is singing of hymns and time in the one hour service for the congregation to share remarks and testimonies of healing that have come from their study and practice of Christian Science.
Child care is available at both the Wednesday and 10 a.m. Sunday services. Everyone in the community is always welcomed at all these services.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
