Free concert series in park
A series of seven, free concerts running from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays, at Riverbank Park begins on July 2 with the Westbrook City Band, under the direction of Jerry Brooks.
The other concerts are Pretty Girls Sing Soprano, July 9; Stolen Mojo, July 16; David Good, July 23; Common Ground, July 30; Now is Now, Aug. 6; and The Hurricanes, Aug. 13.
Other activities on concert nights include kayak and paddleboard rentals from 12-7 p.m., and laser tag from 4-8 p.m., costing $5 per person per game.
The Stephen W. Manchester Post 62 of the American Legion will host a family barbecue from 5-7 p.m.
Trips for seniors
Westbrook Senior Citizens will visit Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire on Aug. 28 for a cruise, lunch, and visit to Castle in the Clouds. The trip is also open to non-members and residents of other communities.
Group spokeswoman Ann McAlpine said the seniors are also planning a trip to New Orleans from Jan. 23 to Feb. 1. The group will tour New Orleans and embark on a Caribbean cruise.

Graham joins SymQuest
Brent Graham has joined the SymQuest Group as document sales account executive in Westbrook.
In his new role, Graham will be responsible for maintaining and growing account relationships by helping SymQuest clients determine strategic applications of document technology and existing equipment, according to a company press release.
Graham joins SymQuest with more than 20 years in business-to-business sales in southern Maine.
SymQuest designs, installs, and supports business technologies.
