GRAY — A house fire shut down traffic in the town center for a few hours Wednesday afternoon.

The fire at 25 Main St., near the intersection of routes 4, 100 and 202, started in the kitchen around 3 p.m., according to dispatcher records.

No major injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
