
Nancy was born in Martinsburg, WV, on April 20, 1927, to the late Joseph and Ida Eckhardt. She grew up in Bridgeville, DE, and attended Syracuse University.
Nancy had wide ranging interests including human psychology, reading, bird watching, gardening and sunny summer days on Chebeague Island, ME.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, J. Lockwood Chamberlin; her three sons and daughtersin law: Joe and Marie Chamberlin of Snellville, GA, John and Cynthia Chamberlin of Orlando, FL, and Ted and Nancy Chamberlin of North Kingstown, RI; and three grandchildren — Thomas, John and Garrett.
A memorial service celebrating Nancy’s life is planned on June 28 at 4 Artist Point Road, Chebeague Island, ME at 3 p.m.
