A mid-morning crash Friday snarled traffic on the Casco Bay Bridge.

A vehicle traveling into Portland from South Portland shortly after 10 a.m. struck the guardrail and came to rest blocking one lane. Traffic backed up considerably as police and fire crews responded.

No one was injured, according to a police dispatcher.
