FREEPORT — As the summer season unofficially gets under way, South Freeport Congregational Church wants to invite the public to worship Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
Presiding over services is the Rev. David Bowling, who provides historical context and contemporary meaning to sermons and scripture readings.
Services include children’s time, original music, hymns and engaging choir anthems. Nursery care and Sunday school for pre-K through eighth-graders during the service is provided as is a time for fellowship and refreshments after the service.
