BATH — LifeChurch Midcoast — known as the “Whoopie Pie” church — is pulling out all the stops to honor moms with a “Breakfast in Bed”-themed celebration for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11.
Located at 45 Floral St. at the Bath Senior Center, LifeChurch Midcoast has been led by Pastors Sam and Ruth Francis for over six years.
“We encourage everyone to join us for the special Mother’s Day service beginning at 10 a.m., but we know not everyone can make it,” said Pastor Sam. “If you can’t make it to service, however, we do hope you join us at 11:15 for ‘Breakfast in Bed!’”
In addition, LifeChurch celebrates and supports mothers year round through its Mom-to-Mom “Life Group.” Mom-to-Mom meets Thursdays at 9 a.m. at the Bath Senior Center, and is open to all women.
“This fabulous group of women has created a safe and nurturing place to find and give support,” Pastor Ruth said. “Check us out on Mother’s Day for ‘Breakfast in Bed,’ and consider joining us on Thursdays as well. We’ll be looking for you.”
