RAYMOND – To celebrate “Get Caught Reading Month,” the Raymond Village Library is holding a photo contest featuring your human (or animal) subject who “got caught reading.”

There are three age groups: Children (3-11), Teens (12-18), and Adults (19 and older). One winner from each age group will receive a prize in June.

Entries must be submitted during library hours on or before May 12. The photos will be hung in the library and voted on from May 14 to June 11.

The contest will be judged by People’s Choice Award. Fee to enter is $5.

Entries must be original photography and pertain to the theme of Get Caught Reading. Limit of one entry per person. The application must be submitted with photo – it can be obtained on RVL website or at the front desk. Photos must be matted – size of your choice – 8×10-inches recommended. By entering the contest you grant the RVL permission to use your photo. The library reserves the right to decide what photos are appropriate for public display.
