Chris Allen hit a 3-pointer with 3.8 seconds left to give the Sioux Falls Skyforce a 113-110 win over the Maine Red Claws Sunday afternoon before 2,835 at the Portland Expo.

The Red Claws dropped their third straight and are 19-28. Sioux Falls improved to 29-19.

Frank Gaines led Maine with 35 points. Tyshawn Taylor scored 19.

Taylor’s three free throws tied the game 110-110 with 18 seconds to go. Sioux Falls called timeout and set up a play for Allen. He came through.

Taylor’s 3-point try in the closing seconds was short.

Maine concludes its home schedule at 7 p.m. Monday against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
