BUXTON — Nomination papers are available from the Buxton Town Clerk’s office for positions that will be voted on at the 2014 annual Town Meeting. The positions are:
Ӣ Two selectmen, assessors and overseers of the poor for three-year terms
Ӣ Town clerk for a three-year term
Ӣ Director of Maine School Administrative District 6 for a three-year term
Ӣ Two planning board members for three-year terms and one for a two-year term
Ӣ Two budget committee members for three-year terms
All nomination papers must be filed in the town clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 28.
Tuesday, June 10 is the annual Town Meeting secret ballot voting day, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Buxton Town Hall at 185 Portland Road.
Saturday, June 14 marks the annual Town Meeting at 9 a.m. at the town hall.
