A year ago January, the American Journal did a wonderful front page story about my English setter, Tess, who could only move about with the aid of her “Walkin’ Wheels” cart. I am sad to say Tess went to the “Big Bird Cover In The Sky” Tuesday evening, just three weeks short of her 14th birthday.

Thanks to all of the nice people who stopped to talk to us in Riverbank Park and who showed an interest and delight in Tess. She loved people. Thank all of you for being so nice to us. I enjoyed our chats immensely.
