“Yours Forever, A Musical Love Letter Through Time” will run at Clay Hill Farm in York Feb. 13-28. The show incorporates historical love letters, poetry and music to demonstrate how love has been communicated through the ages. Thursday performances start at 6 p.m. and Sunday showings are at 2 p.m. Advance tickets are $18 and $15 with an a la carte dinner menu. There is limited seating and reservations are recommended. “Rumpelstiltskin” will be performed Feb. 14-23 at the Children’s Museum and Theater of Maine located at 142 Free St. in Portland. This will be a musical re-telling of the Grimm fairytale. First Friturday Night Live will be on Friday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Coffee by Design in Portland. There is no cover for this event. The Portland Comedy Co-op is teaming up with musicians, poets, storytellers and magicians for this variety show of local proportions. The evening will be hosted by comedian Jordan Handren-Seavey with house band White Pine. Coffee by Design is located at 67 India St. in Portland.

“Guitar Passion,” featuring Sharon Isbin, Stanley Jordan and Romero Lubambo, will perform at The Music Hall, in the Historic Theater, 28 Chestnut St., Portsmouth, N.H., on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. These three master guitarists will perform an evening of classical, Latin, Brazilian and jazz music. “Whirlwind Romance” will be performed by The DaPonte String Quartet at the Biddeford City Theater at 2 p.m. on Feb. 23. The show begins with Hugo Wolf’s Italian Serenade and is followed by Alexander Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major, which contains the famous movement known as the Nocturne, popularized by the Broadway show Kismet. James Montgomery, a blues performer, will perform with the James Montgomery Band at Jonathan’s on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. Montgomery is known for his harmonica playing and blues performances. Advance tickets start at $17.50, and day of show start at $21.50. Jonathan’s is also offering comedy nights in February, starting with comedian Joe Yannetty on Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. Comedian Chris Pennie will perform later in the month. Drumbalaya, a Kennebunk drum circle, will be hosted by The Hive on the second Saturdays of the month starting Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. The drum circle is a freestyle event where adults and well-behaved, attentive children of all ages are welcome.  Watercolor classes will be held with Judith Kinsman on Feb. 12, 19 and 26 and March 5, 12, 19 and 26.  Pecha Kucha Night returns to River Tree Arts on Thursday, Feb. 6 (snow date Feb. 13) in Kennebunk Lower Village. The evening’s presenters include a land reclaimer, a teacher/diplomat, a get-outdoors blogger, two painters, and several more creative people. Pecha Kucha is a short presentation format (20 slides, 20 seconds each) that focuses on creativity and the creative process. The Two Printmakers Show, featuring the work of monotypes artists Barbara Cowen and Bill Childs, will be on display at Just Us Chickens, located in Kittery, during the month of February. Cowen is known for her watercolor paintings, regional landscapes and seascapes. She also has a long-time interest in monotypes and pastels and has studied at the Sharon Arts Center. Childs explores landscapes of the New Hampshire seacoast. Primarily a watercolorist, he has also worked with the monotype process, and pen and ink. “After Hours: Work by Maine Art Teachers,” organized by the Maine Art Educators Association, will show through March 1 at the Saco Museum. A variety of mediums will be showcased including: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, fiber art, sculpture, ceramics, digital art and mixed media. Several York County art teachers will be represented among the artists, all of whom teach in Maine’s public and private schools and universities, and are members of the Maine Art Educators Association. “From the Elegant to the Everyday,” an exhibit of 200 years of fashionable women’s and men’s clothing will be on display at the Saco Museum from March 15 through May 3. “Boy Meets Girl: Portland Ballet Dances the American Songbook” will be performed Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. with a post-show reception at which audience members can meet the professional dancers of PBC, as well as choreographers Nell Shipman and Roberto Forleo. Shows will be at the Portland Ballet Studio Theater, 517 Forest Ave., Portland. The show features music by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and songs such as “I’ve Got You Under my Skin,” “The Lady is a Tramp” and “Mambo Italiano.” Dancers portray the usual characters found out on a Friday night: the happy couple, the flirty waiter, the all-girls table. Artisan applications for the annual Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival are being accepted until March 17. The festival will be held on Sept. 6-7 on the grounds of the Wells Reserve at Laudholm. The Laudholm festival hosts more than 100 of New England’s artists and craftspeople in a seaside setting. Jewelry, pottery, clothing, metalwork, woodwork and photography are among the crafts selected by a jury for this event. Proceeds from the festival benefit the nonprofit Laudholm Trust. The Seaglass Chorale is seeking new members for the spring season. Conducted by Artistic Director Jean Strazdes, the Seaglass Chorale invites adults who love to sing, and who enjoy the camaraderie of kindred musical spirits, to join. The theme for the spring concert is “An Evening of Musical Laughter.” Seaglass Performing Arts is a nonprofit, non-auditioned choral group founded in 1993.
