WELLS — A Valentine’s Day Lunch and Learn will be offered on Feb. 7 from 12-1 p.m. at the Wells Public Library.

Local Valentine’s Day experts Deanna Ross and Ginny Leighton will show their special collection of Valentine’s Day cards from the late 18th century through the 1950s. In addition, they will share some of the history and lore of Valentine’s Day, and finally, they will demonstrate how to make homemade Valentine’s cards with scrap paper, doilies and other items from around the house.

There will be special treats for this Lunch and Learn, including a festive punch, herbal teas, homemade heart-shaped cookies dipped in chocolate, and Danish cupcakes. Feel free to bring a bag lunch.
