Is everything that happens in Maine worth putting on TV?

Seems that way, lately. The act of eel fishing, basically waiting for a net to fill, is the topic of the new Animal Planet reality series “Cold River Cash.”

Maine’s game wardens patrolling the woods have been the subject of a show called “North Woods Law” for two seasons on Animal Planet.

And on Feb. 15, a crew working for National Geographic Channel will set up at the Sebago Lake Ice Fishing Derby to film a yet-unnamed series on ice fishing.

Maine’s got plenty of other things going on that aren’t really that exciting, but could make for riveting TV based on the apparent threshold for reality programs.
