On Wednesday, Jan. 15, the sixth-grade class from Windham Christian Academy spent the day in Augusta learning about Maine’s government. The 14 students and their chaperones visited the Blaine House (the official residence of Maine’s governor) and toured the State House. State Sen. Gary Plummer of Windham hosted the group in the Senate Chamber and spoke with the students about the state’s legislative process.
