HARRISON — Debra (Ring) Heath, 59, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Bridgton Hospital after a long illness.

Debra was born on Feb. 20, 1954 in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Frank and Joan Ring.

At the age of 11, her family moved to Newfield.

After she graduated from Massabesic High School in Waterboro, she relocated to the Bridgton/Harrison area, where she has since resided.

She was a longtime employee of the Bridgton Knitting Mill, where she very much enjoyed her work and her fellow employees.

Debra spent her life addressing challenge after challenge, never passing up a dare and laughing all way through the good times and bad. She loved music, dancing, singing and her dogs, but most of all, her daughter Dawn, her granddaughter Renee and her great-grandchildren.

Debra was preceded in death by: her father, Frank Ring.

She is survived by: her mother, Joan Ring of Sebastian, Fla.; her husband, Thomas Pettegrove of Harrison; her daughter, Dawn Fogg of Bethel; her granddaughter, Renee Siragusa; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Ring of Springfield and James Ring of Newfield; three sisters, Carol Cote of Springvale, Donna Ring of Waterboro and Jody Gourlay of Milton, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at the Waterboro Grange, 31 West Road, Waterboro, on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m.
