CLINTON (AP) — A Clinton man police say was armed with a hammer when he robbed a convenience store where he once worked is scheduled to appear in court.
Jeremy Holt is scheduled to be arraigned via video Tuesday on an armed robbery charge.
Police say the 23-year-old Holt wielded a hammer in the robbery Saturday night at Super 95 One Stop. He was tracked down a short time later after the clerk called police.
Authorities do not think the store robbery is connected a robbery at the Camden National Bank branch in Bingham on Friday morning. The suspect in that case was also armed with a hammer.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There have been no arrests but police plan on looking at bank surveillance video Tuesday.
