A group of Gray Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship ladies and guests were overwhelmingly surprised by a visit from Santa Claus on Monday evening. The ladies were dining at Rosie’s Restaurant in Windham celebrating their annual Christmas Dinner and Yankee Swap party when the waitress cheerfully announced that Santa had arrived and had graciously paid for the dinners of the 28 party ladies.

The Gray Women’s Fellowship is usually busy with activities and projects helping others and giving to the needy and less fortunate and it was with great dignity that they accepted the extremely generous gift.

At a time when our country is in such distress and turmoil, it is very rewarding to see such a positive act of kindness. This truly is the Spirit of Christmas. We all wish to enthusiastically thank this magnificent Santa.
