Texting and driving is a problem that is killing Americans all over the country. It is expanding all around the world causing deaths every day.
A while ago near my town, Parsonsfield, there was an accident. A 17-year-old female was texting her boyfriend while driving at night. She was very interested in her phone and she didn’t see a moose crossing the street. When she looked up and saw it, she turned the wheels causing the car to crash into a tree. The girl survived but she had several injuries and a scary moment.
Texting and driving sounds like nothing to be afraid of, but it’s something that can end your life in less than a minute. Don’t text and drive. It can wait. You know that you are going to see the person you are texting, but if you text while driving you might not see them again. Be responsible for your life and the safety of others, and don’t text while driving.
