


Mt. Ararat took sixth with 69 points, while Morse was 11th (39). Brunswick, with Christian Jensen taking second overall at 106, picked up 14 points.
“I think they wrestled very well,” said Mt. Ararat coach Erick Jensen. “We are very, very young and this is a tough tournament, especially when you have Noble and Skowhegan, two schools who will be fighting for state titles.

Jensen lost to Skowhegan’s Cody Craig 13-4 in the 106 finals.
The Mid-coast region boasted three other wrestlers who made it to the finals, but none were crowned as champions.
Lisbon’s Tyler Bard lost to Zeko Caudill of Cony via pin at 1:32 in the 138-pound division, and teammate Zach Stevens fell to Skowhegan’s Kam Doucette 3-2 in the 145 finals.
Mt. Ararat’s Pierce Knorr took second at 285 via a 4-2 loss to Winslow’s Aaron Lint.
Picking up third places were Lisbon’s JD Martin (120), Josh Collier (152) and David Moore (179), along with Mt. Ararat’s Robert Heatherman (145) and John Heatherman (160).
Fourth-place finishes went to Morse’s Cody Marenius (138), Raz Baltazar (160) and Austin Talgo (220), along with Mt. Ararat’s Brandon Jusseaume (182).
