Mike Silvia, who does floral work for the Harraseeket Inn, strings Christmas lights last week around a shrub outside the Harraskeeket’s Latty House, which is adjacent to the main inn. Silvia, wearing appropriate headgear for a blustery, cold day, said he has been “chipping away” at the holiday decorations at the scenic inn. The whole town will light up for the 20th annual Sparkle Weekend starting Dec. 6.
