FREEPORT — Tibetan Buddhist Center Tashi Gatsel Ling will hold monthly Medicine Buddha Pujas at 7 p.m. on the dates of the full moon, Sunday, Nov. 17, and Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Participants are asked to bring an offering — fruit, nuts, sweets and flowers, for example — which will be shared afterwards.
A new meditation group, Calm Abiding Mind Training, will begin Thursday, Nov. 21, from 7-8 p.m. The group will meet weekly, except on holidays.
